Blog Post #1: Intro

 

Hello, I am Cara Percoco, I am a senior double major in Theatre and Communications here at The University of Tampa. I was born in Newark, Ohio and I grew up in Orlando, Florida. I am passionate about the performing arts and have been performing since I was 10 years old. I am currently working as a scare actor for ZooTampa's Creatures of the Night as the Swamp Witch, an improv actor for The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, and an acting coach for John Casablanca's. I also work as a hostess at Straz Center for The Performing Arts. 

 I am a bit stressed about this class, because of the change in professor and curriculum. It's been a stressful past 2 weeks, but I will be fine once we get going with the new course schedule. I am a little nervous because coding scares me, although I did learn it in FMX 210. I am not the most knowledgeable about design and coding, so I'm hoping this class will get me more comfortable with it. By the end of this class, I want to confidently know how to create a website. I want to be able to put this skill on my resume and truly understand it so I can use it in future jobs.
